Edge creep is covered under our Warranty Program for a period of 12 months. It is not a warrantable item outside of this period. Mirror edge creep can happen as mirrors get older and can be caused by a variety of reasons. Some of the common reasons are:

• Harsh cleaning chemicals used on the mirror. As noted on the care sticker applied to the mirror only water or a small amount of methylated sprits should be used for cleaning. Cleaners with acid, alkaline, ammonia or vinegar should be avoided.

• High humidity or moisture. If the room is not adequately ventilated the high moisture content in the air can affect mirrors over time. Steps should be taken to ensure there is suitable ventilation when the shower is being used.

• Physical damage to the mirror edges can lead to edge creep. If the mirror has been knocked while painting or other works were carried out in the area this can make the mirror edges prone to edge creep.
