Internal and External handles and locks hold a 1-year tarnish-resistant and 1-year mechanical guarantee.
If your 1-year warranty still stands, please take a short video clip of your door handle issue; and email it to the Home Assist team on service@homeassist.com.au for assessment. Kindly quote your job reference number and property address on your email subject to assist us to locate your account and attend to you more swiftly.
If you have fallen outside your 1-year warranty period- refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Self-Help Guide for Gainsborough Freestyle Smart Wi-Fi Trilock. Your Front door lock needs to be reset up with a new code, or the firmware may need an update. Click the link for instructions to reset & add new codes.
Updating Firmware:
Download the freestyle Gainsborough app
Sign up and verify your account.
In the App, go to Settings - Add a new device - While searching for the lock.
Hold the program button on the lock above the batteries for 10 seconds or until you hear some sounds and flashes. Doing this will put the lock into pairing mode.
Once the steps are completed, it should pair with your phone.
Once paired, you will need to update the firmware: Click on settings - Lock setting - choose the lock - click on the firmware update.
Note: To control the lock with your app through Bluetooth, you must be right next to the lock

Moving parts are subject to wear as part of normal use and are guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from key handover date. Outside of this 2-year warranty period please contact Jason Window directly on (08) 9351 3400.

Jason Windows' warranty covers defects that cause water to leak into the windowsills, provided the installation was done correctly and the product was properly maintained. Jason Windows offers a 10-year warranty on their products against defects in workmanship and materials, including issues related to water ingress, provided the product is properly maintained and installed. However, manufacturing standards and tolerances are not considered defects. Installation problems, such as incorrect fitting or missing flashings, are the prime cause of leaks and are not covered under warranty. Outside of tis warranty period, customers must submit warranty claims in writing to Jason Windows within 72 hours of the defect arising.
