Yes, these are generally marked up on more recent builds. If your property is a bit older, we may have not have these available. The general size used is 1500 wide x 1200 deep. They are usually buried to about 300 - 500mm. Usually placed about 1.5 metres from the edge of the home. They have a cement lid and can often be found by using a steal rod and prodding the earth. This is very common and nothing to worry about. Efflorescence is caused by the minerals within the materials used to make bricks and masonry walls, this comes out when there is moisture present. To remove it, you can use a dry brush, a specialised cleaner, or a mechanical method like a stuff nylon brush on non-acid sensitive surfaces.
