Different taps have different product warranties that apply. Mixer taps like those in kitchens or basins contain a cartridge that requires replacement from time to time. This often becomes noticeable if the tap starts to drip or even leak at the base when turned off. This is part of your regular homeowners’ maintenance and should be handled as soon as possible.
Generally, if a single part of the tap is damaged, this may be a fault with the product, and you can refer it to the Home Assist team. However, if more than one section shows marks or damage, it most likely relates to the use or cleaning of the tap.
