Different taps have different product warranties that apply. Mixer taps like those in kitchens or basins contain a cartridge that requires replacement from time to time. This often becomes noticeable if the tap starts to drip or even leak at the base when turned off. This is part of your regular homeowners’ maintenance and should be handled as soon as possible. Generally, if a single part of the tap is damaged, this may be a fault with the product, and you can refer it to the Home Assist team. However, if more than one section shows marks or damage, it most likely relates to the use or cleaning of the tap. Home Assist have a 1-year warranty for plumbing fixtures against faulty materials and workmanship. Your product may have a manufacturer warranty. We recommend having a look on your addenda for the product and product code, and speak with the manufacturer directly to discuss. Be sure to let them know who you built with, your job number and your key handover date so they can assist further.
